Metabolic Renewal, a very well-known weight loss program that almost everyone knows by now. But recently, this particular program has gotten into severe backlash through various forms of social media and other web pages.

According to Dr. Teta, women’s hormones have different production, lifestyle and diet needs and knowing their particular metabolic and hormonal type can help burn fat. 

After various research done by Dr. Jade claims that most women fall into 7 different hormone types, Each of which has a unique impact on metabolism, weight and well-being.

To target the metabolism, Dr. Teta has found 4 ways, and all of those four ways are reflected in this 4M Framework through a pyramid-like layer. These layers build up from the base and end up on the top. This means movement and Mindset are the most crucial parts of the pyramid than meals and exercise, which you might have thought otherwise.

When a woman is stressed, they’re bound to release a hormone called cortisol, which is a hormone related to stress, and the effects are mood fluctuations, lack of sleep, slow metabolism, weight gain and reduced thyroid function.

Is Metabolic Renewal Worth Buying? (After My Personal Experience)

So now you know what this weight loss program is all about. NOW the question is, Is It Worth Buying? 

Before we continue, let me get this out of the way, the program did not work for me. I followed it thoroughly to the end and just lost 3 pounds for the whole 12week. So now I’m following a new diet plan that’s been working pretty well until now. (I’ve lost 6 pounds extra weight in just 2-weeks)

Anyways, The thing is, there are some flaws with this program that should be taken into account for pretty much anyone who’s thinking of giving this program a go. But before we get into that, let’s look at how this program can help overall. 

Metabolic Renewal might support weight loss because It encourages you to follow a diet rich in unprocessed whole foods, such as vegetables, poultry, meat, fish. As you may know, these foods are far greater than processed foods and are lower in calories. With that, they’re also rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. (1)

As I said before, the meals are also low in carbs, which means they’re able to promote short-term weight loss. Yes, you read it right. They only provide a short term result. Because of the temporary nature of the program (12-week), it’s hard to maintain the weight you’ve lost consistently. Once you return to your regular diet, there is a risk where you might gradually regain all the weight you’ve lost. And if that happens, all the hard work you’ve done throughout the program is just completely worthless. (2)

The reason for this is because short term dietary changes cannot take over your long-term lifestyle habits. The next thing is that the program is too restrictive on carbs. Because of this, there’s a risk of cardiovascular disease. 

And the next big problem is that Dr. Jade talks about how a woman can experience 7 different types of hormones throughout their life and how they can impact their weight, metabolism and well-being. But the thing about this claim is that there are no studies to date to back it up.

Other problems come from the meal plan. I mean, it’s good but not great. I’ve almost tried out everything the meal plan has throughout the whole course, and my takeaway is that the cost of the ingredients required to prepare each meal is somewhat high. It’s not what I would call budget-friendly. Basically, I spent around $65 to $85 per week just to make the meals in the book. Even then, I did not buy everything the program suggested.

And not to mention the time it takes to cook each meal, get ready to spend at least 45 minutes to an hour preparing each meal.

The next problem with the meal is its taste. From my experience, some lunches tasted good, but the recipes and taste when it came to dinners were straight-up Meh! Maybe it’s just me. When it comes to breakfast, it’s pretty much Shake’s all the time.

One good thing about this program is its Transformation Tracker; it’s a great inclusion. Unlike other plans, it’s not a piece of paper where you write down your workouts and how much you ate. Instead, this tracker is a bit advanced. Basically, it’s a quiz for the part of the body that is controlled by hormones. It also digs into your general health and your overall hormone stability.

Ahh, the next flaw and the most disgusting thing about this program. This is the main reason why this program is getting all the backlash it’s been getting all this time. And that’s all because of the emails Metabolic Renewal’s been spamming all of its customers daily. These emails are basically a sales pitch that promotes additional products

Dr. Jade recommends you buy fat burner products and other types of protein supplements that’ll never work with this diet plan and are not related to this program at all. So be aware! 

Anyways, as you can see, this program is kind of a mess and full of problems. So even if you purchase the program and see some kind of results, I wouldn’t say it’s from optimizing your metabolism. All the not so great results and the improvement you’ll be experiencing is through recommended dietary and lifestyle changes. 

My concern about the problem was its Metabolic meal plan. I was never a fan of it from the get-go, plus the program never provided me with the eye-watering results it was claiming otherwise. And the next downside was the increased consumption of low-carb foods and the restriction of carbs. For optimal brain functionality and proper energy, a certain amount of carbs is a must every day, and this program fails to deliver in that regard. (3)

With that being said, Is Metabolic Renewal Worth Buying? 

From what I’ve experienced throughout the course, I wouldn’t recommend this program to anyone, and even if I do so, I cannot guarantee prolonged weight loss.

Metabolic Renewal looks enticing when you go through its website. But it usually seems to rear its ugly head only after you purchase the program. The thing about the program for me is its vague recipes and the restrictions towards a more carb-based diet. I mean, there are various carbs that are healthy you can eat that can support weight loss. 

I appreciate the flexibility and the exercises of the program, but it isn’t enough for me, to be honest. A Proper meal is one of the significant aspects of attaining ideal body weight, and Metabolic Renewal fails to deliver in that regard.

However, Thanks to Metabolic Cooking for existing. It provides a more flexible plan and recipes that are a lot more enticing. With that, it also provides recipes for snacks and desserts, all for a $10 asking price. Metabolic Cooking is an excellent program that’s absolutely worth giving a shot!

From what I’ve heard, both Prime and Renewal are the same program. They both have a lot of similarities and a few differences and those are:
